Accessibility statement

This site is held to the standard it documents in others.

The Index records what institutions publish, so it publishes the same of itself: the standard the site claims, the conformance report for the site's plugin and theme, a coordinator contact, a complaint route, and a barrier-report route, in the fixed format the Accessibility Governance Record uses for every entity.

Conformance report

The plugin and the theme

The conformance report for the site's plugin output and theme, with the date and the method of evaluation, is published here and updated at each release of the plugin. It states what was evaluated, by whom, against which standard, and what is known not to conform.

Features and known limitations

What the site does and what it does not yet do

Text first, keyboard everywhere, and nothing that only lives in a PDF or a spreadsheet.

Text first

Every state page, table, and method document is served as text with header cells and captions; the workbook is a download, never the only form of a figure.

Keyboard and screen reader

Every control is operable by keyboard with a visible focus indicator; pages are usable at 400 percent zoom; the skip link is the first focusable element.

No motion, no trackers

No autoplay, no motion that cannot be stopped, and no third-party trackers or analytics that identify a reader.

Signed language

A signed-language summary of the method and the process is published on the process page; further signed-language content is added as it is produced.

Known limitations

Listed here as they are found, with the date and the planned fix, and never removed until fixed.

Barrier reports

What has been reported and fixed

A summary of barrier reports received and their resolution, updated as they are handled.
