The calendar shows, for every jurisdiction, its next scheduled re-audit and the data-cycle date that re-audit follows, at least ninety days ahead. The same rule applies to every state, so the calendar is the answer to any question about timing.
Federal and state data cycles
The Index follows the published data cycles it draws on: the federal child count and educational environments releases, the state fiscal year and the appropriation acts that fund each state school, and the dates on which statutes and rules take effect. When the next reporting cycle publishes, every released file is re-audited by scheduled re-audit, which is a major version, is preceded by update notice with the delta of every figure and code that changed, and carries the next baseline label. The Index records the cycle dates it follows; it does not set them.

Re-audits, notice windows, releases, deposits
Every released file is re-audited at the next data cycle and in any case on the schedule the register shows. First releases and backfills follow file number order unless a commissioned build brings a state forward, in which case the register says so.
