A record of institutions, not of its readers.
This site carries no third-party trackers and no analytics that identify a reader. What it collects is what you send it, and what it publishes about people is only what the institutions it documents publish about their own public roles.
And what we do with it
Nothing is collected by default. Server logs are retained for security for a limited period and are not used to identify readers.
Forms
A correction, comment, license request, or contact submission is stored with what you typed, the date, and your stated name and role, for as long as the record it concerns exists, because it is part of the file's custody.
Comments
A published comment is attributed by role, and by name only where the body asks. Personal data inside a comment is redacted before publication and the redaction is marked.
Names in state files
A person's name appears only where the institution itself publishes it for the public role the file records, and is replaced by the role on request without any change to any figure or code.
No trackers
No third-party scripts, fonts, or analytics. The site does not know who you are unless you tell it.
Licensees and partners
A licensee's or State Partner's details are held for the term of the relationship and are disclosed on the funding page in bands, as the independence rules require.

To see, correct, or remove personal data, write to the publisher through the contact page; acknowledgment within two business days.
